Mirror Image Arts provides physical, emotional, and creative spaces for all people to experience healing and belonging. Our building is an extension of our work which is the liberation of all. We open our doors to groups and organizations to gather for learning, concerts, events, and meetings.

We pride ourselves in being community leaders and collaborators by providing hospitable and inclusive spaces within our building. To inquire about one of the following spaces, please read our Building Use Policies and complete a Room Request/Planning Form.

  • Restorative Theatre & Meeting Hall

    Capacity 80 seated without tables

    Our main room includes a stage, 80 folding chairs, a small kitchenette, three cafe table tops with stools, limited tables, wifi, a small screen for presentations. The room is versatile and can be set up to meet your needs.

  • Conference Room

    Capacity 10-15

    Our Conference Room and Small Meeting Room is perfect for organizations who have monthly or quarterly meetings. Contact us for your next meeting. The room includes a snack bar, access to beverages, and free wifi access.

  • Small Meeting Room/Work Space

    Capacity 2-4

    Do you need a small work space or meeting room for a few hours. This room is perfect if you need to focus and get away from distractions for a few hours. Unlike hanging out at a nearby coffee spot, you won’t have distracting conversations or music competing for your attention.

Building use policy

Mirror Image Arts building serves as the Center For Restorative Theatre and offices to Mirror Image Arts™.  We are youth advocates and our work is the for the liberation of all people. We welcome and honor all people regardless of race, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, gender identification, mental and physical ability, creed, age, or economic status. Mirror Image Arts™ reserves the right to decline use of the building to groups or individuals whose values or actions are contrary to those of this organization or to its values and mission.

Scheduling for spaces is dependent on room availability and contract compliance after submission and approval of a PLANNING FORM.  There are no building use fees, donations supporting the mission of MIA are always welcome.

Booking Your Meeting, Class, or Event:

A Planning Form must be filled out and submitted to Mirror Image Arts™ at least 2 WEEKS before the event.  Any changes made to a submitted and approved planning form must be received at least 1 week prior to your actual event.

For all youth organizations, proof of insurance and background checks will be required.

Priorities for use:

Mirror Image Arts™and Christ the King Episcopal Programs and Activities always take precedence.   PLEASE NOTE:  MIA reserves the right to relocate or cancel activities in the facility to accommodate Mirror Image Arts™ related activities (i.e., programs). The MIA office will attempt to notify the group prior to their meeting as soon as possible.

Regulations Governing Use:

  1. All activities will be in compliance with applicable City of Arvada ordinances and state laws.

  2. Rooms will be offered in existing condition, with known and unknown hazards.

  3. All groups/individuals must upload proof insurance coverage OR provide signed insurance waivers from our website, PRIOR to the event taking place.

  4. Each group is responsible for returning rooms to their original condition before departure. This includes moving chairs, tables, etc. to their original positions. Items should be picked up and moved, do not slide furniture which can damage wood floors. 

  5. Report damage, breakage, or accidents of any kind to the MIA office staff. Damage or cleaning fees may be assessed.

  6. Report all physical injuries to the MIA office immediately after attending to the injury.

  7. Smoking is not allowed in the church building.  Smoking is permitted only 25 feet from MIA and church entrances. Dispose of cigarette butts in appropriate containers. Use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or firearms on the property is strictly prohibited.

  8. The MIA or Church property may not be used in any manner that creates a nuisance or hazard to the community or the working staff. Do not nail, staple or fasten banners, posters, or wall hangings to the interior or exterior of the building. Glitter is never allowed in the building.

  9. MIA space shall not be used by any external Partisan Political Groups, including groups that: (a) would favor one candidate over another; (b) oppose a candidate in some manner; or (c) have the effect of favoring a candidate or group of candidates.  Political signs may not be placed anywhere on church property.  The building can be used as a polling place.

  10. Activities are restricted to areas contracted in the planning form.

  11. Activities involving children or youth (under the age of 18) must be Background Checked and approved by the MIA office for the contracted space and time.

  12. MIA staff will set up special room configurations in advance if time allows.  Please be specific on the Planning Form for the set-up that you require.

  13. Groups will furnish their own supplies (food, drinks, cups, dishes, utensils, paper, copies, pens, etc.) unless arranged otherwise. Please use compostable cups, plates and utensils.  If possible, please do not bring Styrofoam cups, plates, or plastic utensils.  You can use our recycle bins for recyclable items.

  14. All trash must be removed from the building.  Trash piled outside the dumpster is unacceptable.

  15. No animals, except for service animals, will be allowed inside any area of the MIA building unless prior specific approval is notated on the planning form and subsequently granted.

  16. MIA furniture, equipment, and furnishings are not to be removed from the MIA building without special permission.  Please do not sit on tables.  Please do not apply tape to painted or glass surfaces.

Please note, a planning form is not a guarantee of a scheduled event until it has been approved by the MIA office and confirmed to the event leader. Following confirmation by the MIA office, proof of insurance and background checkS for youth serving organizations, must be received at least 2 weeks in advance.
