    We are so honored to be the benefiting nonprofit for the 2nd Annual Rise Comedy Cup hosted by Rise Comedy! 60 performers signed up for this year's tournament and were randomly assigned to form a 4 person improv team. The event consisted of 16 teams competing round after round until a winning team was crowned.

  • November 2023 Issue

    Our facilitators at Third Way Center received this heartfelt note from a youth participant during evaluations. Through consistent and long term programming, our facilitators become vital trusted adults for the youth we work with. Trusted adults play a pivotal role in the lives of young people. For many of the youth we work with, relationships with trusted adults are rare or non-existent.

    On August 3, 2023, nine passionate participants in Mirror Image Arts' Restorative Theatre program created this Zine project.

    Our Zine projects are small, self published works of writing and art, created in collaboration with youth who are incarcerated. This Zine is a testament to their creativity, resilience, and a collective celebration of their unique narratives.

    We have 13 tickets left for our I Got Your Back! event this Friday, September 8th, at The Savoy Denver. Your participation will support the mission of Mirror Image Arts.

    The evening will include a delicious meal and libations, an immersive theatre experience that will bring you, the audience, into the work of MIA, and a silent auction filled with local products and one-of-a-kind experiences. Connect with artists, philanthropists, and fellow disruptors as you enjoy stories from our programs!

  • July 2023 Issue

    Our facilitators have had so much fun during the My Curious Courage program at Smith Elementary. During the final week of programming before summer break, one of our youth was found crying after the class ended. As facilitators comforted him, he stated, "I will miss you both very much!" As trusted adults, we know how important goodbyes are. Our facilitators were able to comfort this student and help them process their emotions. They assured him they would miss him too and are excited to see him next school year!
