Allie has been studying and working in the theatre for over a decade. She received her BA in Theatre Arts from Illinois Wesleyan with emphases on directing, performance, and sociology and has travelled both nationally and internationally throughout her career. She has explored and worked the spectrum of theatre, which revealed her passion to engage with her audience and create a shared experience that promotes play and empowerment. Allie is also a dedicated practitioner and teacher of yoga and meditation, and she believes that creativity and health go hand in hand for true holistic well-being. Ryan Pierce joined the Mirror Image Arts team as an event volunteer in 2015 and has since continued supporting the team administratively. With eight years of experience in financial administration and two years in operations supervision, Ryan enjoys background processes that help non-profits run efficiently. Recently, he has refocused his attention on data management and is excited to bring his data driven approach to help Mirror Image Arts as they continue to grow and change.

Larry is the Playwright in Residence for Mirror Image Arts. Larry also teaches and writes curriculum for Executive Arts/Play On! here in Denver and has taught/devised/directed for the City of Aurora and MIzel/JCC. He also taught and worked on shows for several years at the Lawrence Arts Center in Kansas and is a cohort with Card Table Productions there. As a freelance writer, his work has appeared locally in Westword and on the web via Did You Know. He also writes/devises work on spec/demand with/for various other companies, schools, entities, and people. He was the resident playwright for STP/Theatre En Bloc in Austin, TX from 2010-2014. Larry holds an MFA in Playwriting from the University of Arkansas and a BFA in Theatre from Emporia State University. His unpublished but produced plays have cool titles like: American Bear, Seller Door, New Adventures in Love and the Space Time Continuum, The Complete History Of Kansas in 60 Minutes (Give or Take), The Man Without A Country, The Patchwork Girl of Oz, The Tin Woodsman, Flying Ninjas, Finding Stars, and Still the Knight. Adamo Vaccarella (Lady Strongman) is an actor, singer, writer, cyclist, and volunteer. Originally from Pennsylvania, he received his BA from Muhlenberg College. From 2008-2011, he attended Arizona State University, where he received his MFA in Performance with an emphasis on new works and devised collaborations. In his final year at ASU, Lady was awarded the Grace LeVine Award from the Princess Grace Foundation. Lady sings with the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus, volunteers as a tester and prevention counselor for HeyDenver, and recently finished his third ride with AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness for people living with HIV/AIDS. He is proud to be a member of Mirror Image Arts.

Mitch Marquez was born and raised here in Denver. He was exposed to the entertainment industry at a young age by family members, and has been studying acting for over a decade. He has been acting in film and on stage in the Denver area, and is dedicated to the craft of storytelling.

Iliana Barron is a graduate from the University of Colorado, Denver. She holds a degree in Theater, Film, and Television with an emphasis in Production, as well as, a minor in Philosophy. Iliana has always had a passion for learning, growing, and working with others. This passion has led her to not only teaching people of all ages, but also doing voluntary work for elementary schools (Carson Elementary School), non-profit organizations (Reading Partners, Centro San Juan Diego, etc.), and actively being involved in local theater and film. Iliana believes, in order to master her skill, she has to learn it inside out. This belief has led her to working in the industry as a lighting technician and wardrobe mistress for many A-list artists. Iliana is a founding member of The West Fax Art District, and a performing artist at Su Teatro. She is also currently helping others achieve their goals as a health and fitness coach.

Julie Rada identifies as a director, performer, and scholar. She has done theatre for over 27 years and has worked on over 80 performance projects, with a focus on original, devised work and new plays. Original works include: RID, glASS (and other imponderables), a murder one less, and My Burning Tires. As a performer and researcher, she has toured nationally and internationally. Her work has been reviewed in Backstage, The Denver Post, The Arizona Republic, The Rocky Mountain News, Westword, The New Times, and others. Julie has worked in the prison system for over three years, facilitating new works of theatre at four prisons with men and women, and was selected as an artist-in-residence by the National Endowment for the Arts at the Phoenix Federal Corrections Institution. She attended the Experimental Theatre Wing at NYU/Tisch and Naropa University for undergraduate studies and holds an MFA from Arizona State University. She completed a postgraduate fellowship at the University of Utah and currently teaches part-time at Naropa University.

Born September 1990 in Denver, CO, Joshua Small is the youngest of three and the only son in his family. Raised in the city, he attended East High School and later graduated from CU Boulder with a BA in Japanese with a creative writing minor. Throughout his days in college and since, Joshua has performed before hundreds over dozens of outings, and has enjoyed shows throughout Colorado and as far as New Hampshire. With renewed vigor for performing, he seeks the opportunities unique to Mirror Image Arts, and eagerly awaits the adventures of this upcoming year!

Meghan Frank is a theatre maker and educator who has worked globally (Afghanistan, India, Canada, Egypt, Cuba, Azerbaijan and the Balkans). Meghan grew up in Denver. She specializes in devising original theatre, physical comedy, mask, and community-based arts initiatives. From 2012-14, Meghan was a faculty member at Dell’Arte International School for Physical Theatre, the only graduate program of its kind in the United States. In 2015, she was one of fifty world-wide winners of the National Arts Strategies Creative Community Fellowship. Maya Osterman is thrilled to have joined the Mirror Image Arts team! As an applied theatre practitioner for the past 7 years, Maya is honored to collaborate on such critical work. She loves exploring how the power of Theatre and Education can facilitate transformation on all levels. Upon receiving her BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Colorado, Maya began to work as the Managing Director for Affinity Arts Consulting based in Boulder, CO. She then created the ACTivism Theatre Ensemble, a company of high school and college students performing educational outreach/prevention scenes for The SAVA (Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy) Center. Her latest endeavor is working with the Colorado Division of Youth Corrections where she will be mounting the pilot program A.C.T (Activate. Create. Transform) Youth Ensemble in several facilities throughout the state.
